The Consulting Club at the Texas Medical Center (CCTMC) is the largest non-profit consulting club for advanced degree candidates (PhD, MD, JD) in Texas. CCTMC prepares members to transition from academia to careers in management consulting. With 4 years of experience within the organization as a member and across the executive team, I continue to help the organization achieve its goals. Upon graduation, I will be serving as a member of the board.

    • Assisting 2023 executive team with strategic decisions

    • Realigned long term vision by restructuring the board

    • Identified new avenues for growth including development of podcast for advanced degree candidates

    • Restructured and expanded executive team from 10 to 20 members

    • Led 350+ advanced degree members across 6 institutions by managing a 20-person team resulting in 20 events and 11 local consulting projects totaling $5100 in revenue

    • Initiated and organized inaugural Women in Consulting series with 6 female consultants representing McKinsey, Bain, BCG, LEK, Health Advances, and IQVIA resulting in 300 female candidates in attendance over 2 events.

    • Secured 3 CCTMC sponsorships and initiated Deloitte collaboration for targeted recruitment of ADCs

    • Raised $5000 in revenue by launching 12 new events and increasing event attendance by >5X

    • Led a 10-person team for the 2021 TMC Case Competition resulting in 90+ participants from 15+ US schools, 18 consultant judges from top consulting firms, and $3,500 in prize money

    • Secured partnership with major healthcare provider in Houston, TX, working directly with Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Strategy to develop competition case
